Mary Baxter received her diploma in nursing from Iowa Methodist School of Nursing in Des Moines, Iowa and her bachelor's in nursing at Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa. She then received her masters in nursing at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, in Omaha, Nebraska. She has practiced with the Nebraska Heart Institute since 2001 and currently works with electrophysiologists, in Lincoln, who specialize in pacemakers and defibrillators, as well as those patients with irregular heart rhythms.
